Tirumala Venkatesh, v. The State Of Telangana
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT W.P. No.21822 of 2018 ORDER:
The request is against non-conversion of agricultural land into non-agricultural purposes.
Mr.R.Narasimha Reddy, learned counsel for petitioner fairly states that the application ought to have been made in the prescribed format before the Revenue Divisional Officer as well. In the case on hand, the application is made only before the 3rd respondent. Be that as it may, the petitioner is given liberty to apply for conversion in the prescribed format before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Gadwal and this Court has no reason to doubt that Revenue Divisional Officer, Gadwal discharges the statutory function as expeditiously as possible, preferably within three months from the date of receipt of copy of the application.
Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
