THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION Nos.2761, 15123 and 15508 of 2009 COMMON ORDER:
The prayers in these writ petitions are substantially same and similar. Reference to the prayer in W.P.No.15508 of 2009 would suffice the purpose and the same is extracted hereunder:- ".. to issue a Writ, Order of Direction more particularly one in the nature of Mandamus declaring the G.O.Ms.No.282 Agriculture and Cooperation (Sericulture) Department, dated 04-10-2008 and G.O.Ms.No.14, Industries and Commerce (Tax) Department, dated 21-01-2009 and consequential proceedings of the Commissioner of Sericulture in Rc.No.2148/2008/TM, dated 27-04-2009 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice...." At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners placed on record G.O.Ms.No.124, Agriculture & Cooperation (Seri.) Department, dated 07-06-2012.
The operative portion of the Government order reads as follows:- "In the circumstances reported above, Government after careful consideration, hereby accord permission to the Commissioner of Sericulture, Hyderabad to transfer all the Silk Weavers Cooperative Societies which are presently under the administrative control of Sericulture Department to the administrative control of Handlooms and Textiles Department, for all purposes of running the societies in the larger interest of the Silk and Handloom Weaver Cooperative Societies, so as to enable to applicable and to implement the schemes announced to the weavers in the State by the State Government as well as Government of India."
From the above, it is clear that the prayers of all the petitioners are substantially redressed by the respondents by issuing the G.O., referred to above.
By placing on record the said Government Order, the writ petitions are disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
