THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.12693 of 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in taking steps to shift the location of the installation of 33/11 KV Sub-Station from New Mittapally Village to Old Mittapally Village, Thallada Mandal of Khammam District, as illegal and arbitrary.

At the time of arguments, the learned Standing Counsel for TSNPDCL submitted that construction of 33/11 KV Sub-Station at Old Mittapally Village was completed on 01.04.2017. Both the villages are getting electricity supply from 33/11 KV Sub-Station, Old Mittapally Village.

In view of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for TSNPDCL, the purpose of filing the writ petition has become infructuous.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
