HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No.1938 of 2016 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging non compliance of the order dated 10.06.2016, passed by this Court in W.P.No.18056 of 2016.

Now a counter-affidavit has been filed by the 4th respondent-Mandal Parishad Development Officer stating that out of the list furnished by the petitioner, 25 persons were found to be eligible out of 42 pensioners and to the extent of said 25 persons, pension has already been sanctioned. Two other persons have died. Inasmuch as the order is only limited to the extent of consideration of issuance of the pension to the extent of eligible persons, the contempt case is required to be closed. However, if the petitioner is otherwise aggrieved with the action of the respondents, he shall be at liberty to take steps for seeking pension in accordance with the law.

With the above observations, the Contempt Case is closed. No order as to costs.
