THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.335 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioners state that they earlier occupied the land in Survey No.83/1 and 2 of Sanivada Village, Aganampudi Gram Panchayat, Gajuwaka Mandal, Visakhapatnam District, but they were evicted following the directions of the Hon'ble Lokayuktha. The petitioners claim that thereafter they occupied the land in Survey No.89 and apprehending that they are likely to be evicted from it, the present Writ Petition is filed. They petitioners further state that they filed representation, dated 22.12.2015, before the District Collector, Visakhapatnam District, the 2nd respondent, to that effect. However, the 2nd respondent had already obtained report from the Tahsildar, Gajuwaka Mandal, Visakhapatnam District, the 3rd respondent, in Rc.No.486/2015/SA, dated 26.09.2015.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to take appropriate decision on the representation of the petitioners, dated 22.12.2015, and give necessary directions to the 3rd respondent as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
