THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY W.P.No.3948 of 2008 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) This Court, by order dated 26.02.2008, granted interim stay on condition of deposit of Rs.2,50,000/- on or before 31.03.2008. Thereafter, on 02.04.2008, while admitting the writ petition, this Court modified the earlier interim order subject to the petitioner depositing Rs.6,00,000/- within a period of six weeks from the date of the order and, in default, the interim stay would stand vacated. On a petition being filed seeking extension of time, this Court, by order dated 11.06.2008, while extending time to comply with the interim order till 30.08.2008, made it clear that, in case the said order was not complied with, the writ petition would stand dismissed. Sri S.

Suri Babu, learned Special Standing Counsel for Commercial Taxes, would submit that the petitioner had failed to comply with the said order; and consequently, in terms of the order passed by this Court on 11.06.2008, the writ petition stands dismissed. The writ petition is dismissed accordingly. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
