Heard both sides. With the consent of both parties the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.2 in not considering the representation dated 15.06.2017, made by the petitioner seeking to enquire into the social status of respondent Nos.6 to 13, as illegal and arbitrary. 3.

Though various grounds are raised, the learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to respondent No.2 to consider the representation made by the petitioner, at the earliest. 4.

Learned Government Pleader does not dispute the same, provided the same is pending consideration.

Having regard to the above submissions, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 15.06.2017, made by the petitioner, seeking to enquire into the social status of the unofficial respondents, in accordance with law, after hearing both the parties, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three to six months. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
