THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE T.VI NOD KUMAR WRI T PETI TI ON No.24943 of 2019 O R D E R:

This writ petition is filed to declare the inaction of respondents 2 and 3 in registering the complaint of the petitioner, dated 23.03.2019, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 20.01.2020, submits that, based on the complaint made by the petitioner, a GD entry was made and enquiry was done. After enquiry, a case was registered in Crime No.12 of 2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 453, 380, 468, 471 and 506 read with Section 34 IPC on the file of Nampally Police station, on 12.01.2020, and the case is under investigation.

Having regard to the submission made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, since the grievance of the petitioner, as to registration of complaint, stands redressed, no further orders need be passed in the present writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
