THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.2511 of 2009 ORDER:

The writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of Certiorari to call for the records pertaining to the order passed in O.P.No.4 of 2006, dated 04.02.2009, on the file of the Election Tribunal cum Junior Civil Judge at Wanaparthy, Mahabubnagar District and quash the same as arbitrary and illegal.

The petitioner herein challenged the order of the Election O.P., which is filed by the first respondent herein, whereby the said Election O.P., is allowed declaring that the election of the petitioner herein is set aside and the respondent herein is declared as elected candidate for the post of Sarpanch of Rampur Grampanchayat. In view of the term of the office of the first respondent is over, the subject matter of the writ petition has now become infructuous. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any shall also stand closed.
