Learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition submits that by afflux of time the impugned notification in the writ petition lapsed. As such, the Government has issued fresh notification under Section 3(A) of the National Highways Act, 1956 (for short 'the Act') on 08.08.2019. He further submits that in spite of issuance of the notification, as above, the petitioners are objecting for conducting survey.

On the other hand, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the respondent-authorities are interfering with the possession of the petitioners without following due process of law. 3.

In view of the same, the respondent-authorities are directed not to interfere with the possession of the petitioners without following due process of law and the petitioners shall also not obstruct the respondent-authorities from conducting survey, since notification under Section 3(A) of the Act is issued.

With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
