THE HONOURABLE MR JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.5116 of 2015

ORDER

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home.

2. The present writ petition alleges that though on the complaint of the petitioner a case in Cr.No.25 of 2015 is registered, the third respondent- police has not been taken up any further appropriate steps against the 4th respondent.

3. The instructions of learned Government Pleader for Home show that on the complaint of the petitioner, the aforesaid crime is registered and taken up for investigation wherein six witnesses have already been examined and the investigation is at the stage of collecting further evidence and that a final report will be submitted before the jurisdictional Court as early as possible.

4. In view of the same, therefore, the third respondent is directed to investigate the aforesaid crime and take appropriate further steps expeditiously.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
