THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.3063 of 2008 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to promote the petitioner as Deputy Executive Engineer without reference to the impugned orders, 04.02.2008. 2.

This Court, by an order, dated 15.02.2008, directed the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion, without reference to the impugned order, dated 04.02.2008. Pursuant to the directions of this Court, the respondents have considered and rejected the case of the petitioner vide proceedings, dated 19.03.2018. It is submitted by learned Standing Counsel that challenging the said rejection order, the petitioner has already filed W.P.No.9786 of 2018 and in view of the same this writ petition has become infructuous.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous giving liberty to the petitioner to pursue Writ Petition No.9786 of 2018, which he has filed.

Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
