THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.24785 of 2015 ORDER:

The petitioner is an association, which was registered under the Societies Registration Act. The area where the members of the petitioner's association are doing their activity is called as Auto Nagar and there are nearly 1400 units in the said area. It is situated in Survey Nos.50/1 and 50/2 of Thokada Village. It appears that one third party formed a Society in the said area and he addressed a letter dated 17.12.2012 to the District Collector, Visakhapatnam, and to other authorities, in pursuance of which they inspected the units, but did not take any action. However, the members of the petitioner association apprehended disconnection of electricity by respondents 4 and 5, they filed the present Writ Petition.

This Writ Petition came up for admission on 07.08.2015 and it was adjourned in order to enable the learned Standing Counsel for respondents 4 and 5 to obtain instructions. Now, the learned Standing Counsel for respondents 4 and 5 submits that at present there is no threat of disconnection, but however as and when respondents 4 and 5 want to take any action, they would follow due procedure of law.

Recording the submission of the learned Standing Counsel, the Writ Petition is closed, as it is based on mere apprehension. There shall be no order as to costs.

The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
