THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRI T PETI TI ON No.18122 OF 2017 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Home for the State of Telangana. With their consent, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2.

Since this Court is not going into the merits of the case, it may not be necessary to issue notice to the unofficial respondents. 3.

The Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, came to be filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondents 4 to 7 in summoning the petitioners to Asif Nagar Police Station and Chikkadpally Police Station without there being any case registered against them,as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct respondents 4 to 7 not to demand the presence of the petitioners in the above referred police stations, without registering a crime against them. 4.

Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, states that a case in Crime No.167 of 2017 of Chikkadpally Police Station (R.7) is registered under the caption 'woman missing'. 5.

The grievance of the petitioners is that if any action is sought to be taken against the petitioners, the same may be in accordance with law.

CPK,J WP_18122_2017 6.

It is to be noted that the 1st petitioner is daughter of respondent No.8 and that she on her own married the 2nd petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of the above, police are trying to pressurise the 2nd petitioner to send the 1st petitioner with the 8th respondent. The same is disputed by the learned Government Pleader. According to him, any action sought to be taken by the respondents will be in accordance with law. 7.

Recording the statement made by the learned Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents - police not to harass the petitioners and if they intend to take any action, the same shall be in accordance with law. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _______________________ JUSTI CE C.
