THE HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI KALYAN JYOTI SENGUPTA AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION No.100 of 2015 ORDER: (per the Hon'ble The Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) Learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 does not want to file any counter-affidavit.

Having regard to the nature of relief claimed in this matter and

after examining Section 5 of the Andhra Pradesh (SC, ST & BCs) Regulation of Issue of Community Certificates Act, 1993, we are of the view that the complaint of the petitioner can be examined by the District Collector.

Therefore, we direct the second respondent to enquire into the complaint made by the petitioner and while doing so, if any action is required to be taken, person or persons who might be affected shall be heard. The petitioner shall also be heard. This entire exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.

This Public Interest Litigation is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
