HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION NO. 2155 OF 2015 ORDER:

At the admission stage, the following order is passed. It is seen that in this case charge sheet is filed for the offences under Sections 498-A & 406 IPC and under Sections 4 & 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act, against petitioners/A2 to A5 and the case is registered as C.C.No. 408 of 2014 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad. Having regard to the stage of the case, it is not a fit case to quash the proceedings. However, petitioners/A2 to A5 are at liberty to present a discharge application putting forth all the defenses that are legally permissible to them, in which case, the trial court shall dispose of the said application on merits expeditiously. Further, considering the request of learned counsel for petitioners, the appearance of petitioners/A2 to A5 in C.C.No. 408 of 2014 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, is dispensed with except on the occasions when the trial Court requires their attendance.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed. ___________________________ U. DURGA PRASAD RAO, J Date: 26.03.2015 KA
