HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.834 OF 2013 ORDER:

Challenging the action of the respondents in interfering with the life and personal liberty of the petitioner, this writ petition is filed.

This Court, vide order dated 09.01.2013 directed the respondents not to call the petitioner to the police station, unless he is required in the course of the investigation in connection with any crime.

Today, learned Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions before this Court stating that several cases were registered by the Kulusumpura Police Station, Hyderabad, given by various complainants. The above crimes were registered in respect of the complaints made against one Smt.J.Lavanya, who stated that she pledged/mortgaged the jewellery with the petitioner. However, the name of the petitioner was not shown in the FIR and the case is under investigation.

In view of the above instructions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents not to harass the petitioner, except investigating the crime, in accordance with law. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
