Bhosale) Respondent No.2 - Principal Secretary, Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies Department is present in the Court. Heard learned counsel for the parties. Mr. A. Sanjeev Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader submits that the respondents could not comply the direction issued by this Court vide order dated 16-02-2015, to take decision to make an appointment on the post of the President - Telangana State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, since the name forwarded by the Chief Justice was not acceptable to the State Government.

If the respondents, for whatever reason, were not able to comply the direction issued by this Court, they ought to have approached the Court for seeking extension of time for complying the direction. Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, on instructions, submits that henceforth the respondents will not commit any such lapse and they would approach the Court for appropriate order well in advance. He further submits, on instructions, that the respondents shall comply the direction within a period of six weeks from today. His statement is recorded and accepted. In view thereof, time to take decision as per the order dated 16-02-2015 is extended by six weeks from today. The contempt case is accordingly disposed of. _________________________ DILIP B.
