THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.11739 of 2011 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed assailing the action of the Regional Transport Authority, Warangal District, in not considering the petitioners'

representation dated 18.04.2011.

By the said representation, the petitioners requested that the tax paid by them for an earlier period should be adjusted as against the tax due from 01.04.2011 up to 30.06.2011.

By interim order dated 29.06.2011, this Court directed the Regional Transport Authority, Warangal District, to consider the representation of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law without having regard to the fact that the period of the permits expired. This consideration was directed to be made within a timeframe.

The Deputy Transport Commissioner, Warangal, filed a counter-affidavit stating that pursuant to the above interim order, the petitioners' representation dated 18.04.2011 was considered and rejected under proceedings No.595/A1/2011 dated 28.07.2011. In the light of the afore-stated developments, the prayer in the writ petition has worked itself out as the respondent authority has already considered the petitioners' representation dated 18.04.2011 and passed appropriate orders thereon.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
