THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 30063 OF 2017 O R D E R:

The grievance of the petitioners is that the 5th respondent Station House Officer has refused to receive their complaint sent by Registered Post on 19.08.2017, as regards the criminal acts committed against them in respect of the property situated in Survey Nos. 139, 153 and 163 of Uluchi Village, Ongole Mandal, Prakasam District.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (Andhra Pradesh), based on the oral instructions, submits that pursuant to the complaint dated 19.08.2017, a case in Crime No. 401 of 2017 has been registered on the file of Ongole Taluk Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 148, 447 and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and investigation has been taken up into the said crime.

In view of the above-said submissions, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
