HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.21965 of 2018 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has taken the premises of the 5th respondent on lease and running a Function Hall and the lease period has come to an end during 2018. Thereafter, the petitioner has been making representations to the 5th respondent to extend the lease period, but the 5th respondent without considering the said representation has sealed the said premises. Therefore, appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for renewal of lease period in respect of 5th respondent's premises. Learned Counsel appearing for the 5th respondent submits that the case of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law, if he submits a fresh representation. He further submits that the representation of the petitioner would be placed before the General Body of the 5th respondent for taking appropriate decision in accordance with law.

This Court, having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel for the respective parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the 5th respondent seeking extension of lease/ fresh lease within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon such representation being received, the 5th respondent shall place the

matter before the General Body of the 5th respondent for passing appropriate orders in accordance with law.

With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
