THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 27227 OF 2017 O R D E R:

The grievance of the petitioner is non-registration of First Information Report on his complaint dated 22.10.2016. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (Andhra Pradesh), while refuting the allegation made by the petitioner, has placed on record a copy of FIR No. 250 of 2016 dated 19.10.2016 registered for the offences punishable under Section 324 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3(i)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act based on the complaint received from the petitioner with respect to the same incident.

In the light of the fact that as on today, with respect to the incident which occurred on 19.10.2016, FIR Nos. 247, 248, 249 and 251 of 2017 have already been registered, the incident being one and the same in all the FIRs., there cannot be any grievance for the petitioner. The respondent police shall complete the investigation in the above crimes and take necessary steps as expeditiously as possible.

The Writ Petition is accordingly, disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
