Yes/No THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.RAVI KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.19986 of 2000 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of respondents in not promoting the petitioner as Junior Accounts Officer against unqualified quota with effect from 08.08.2000 and to grant all other consequential reliefs. This writ has come up before me on 04.08.2015 and, on the request of learned counsel for petitioner, it was adjourned to 05.08.2015. Again on 05.08.2015 a request is made for adjournment and on the request of learned counsel for petitioner it is posted to this day with the direction that no further adjournment will be granted. Inspite of posting this matter on the request of learned counsel for the petitioner with specific direction that no further adjournment will be granted no interest is evinced and none appeared for the petitioner when the matter is called in the morning session. To accommodate the petitioner matter is passed over. In spite of that no one appeared and no representation is made till 2.50 p.m.

Smt.Jagarlamudi Koteswari Devi, learned Standing Counsel for APSDCL, is present and represented that there is no basis for claim of the petitioner. Considering these aspects, I do not find any ground to further adjourn the matter and, therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. As a sequel to the disposal of this Writ Petition, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending, shall stand dismissed. There shall be no orders as to costs.
