The present writ petition is filed questioning the action of the second respondent in not mutating the house property, bearing No.7-744/56/36, Plot No.22, admeasuring Acs.2.29 square yards, Survey No.31 situated at Vidyanagar Colony, Ward No.28 of Adilabad Municipality, Adilabad District, in favour of the petitioner, despite the application, dated 08.04.2019, made by the petitioner, before the second respondent to that effect.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for the Municipality.

Inasmuch as the petitioner has filed an application on 08.04.2019, which is stated to be pending consideration by the second respondent, it would suffice if a direction is given to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the said application in accordance with law within a time frame.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to consider the application, dated 08.04.2019, filed by the petitioner, and dispose of the same, if not already disposed of, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
