The present writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.471 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is stated in the affidavit that the petitioner is the owner of the Tractor and Trailer involved in the above crime registered for transportation of sand illegally. The petitioner used to give his vehicle on hire and he has not committed any offence as alleged. 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, the respondents are directed to complete the investigation and file a final report, in accordance with law, without arresting the petitioner. 5.
