HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.5556 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioner/A3 seeks to quash the proceedings against him in C.C.No.816 of 2012 on the file of IX Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad.

When the matter came up for hearing, this Court called for information as to the present stage of C.C.No.816 of 2012. Accordingly, the Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad, in his letter in Dis.No.11884/MSJ/HYD/2018, dated 04.08.2018, submitted information to the effect that after acquittal of A1 on 11.12.2014, the said case has been split up against A2 to A5 as C.C.No.586 of 2014 and the said case was settled before National Lok Adalat on 10.02.2018. 3.

In that view, this criminal petition which was filed against C.C.No.816 of 2012 has become infructuous and it is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
