THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO. 22510 of 2017 ORDER :

Heard both sides. With the consent of both parties the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of respondents in not adhering to the orders of this Court passed in W.P.No.39435 of 2016, dated 07.12.2016, as illegal and arbitrary.

Learned counsel for the petitioner mainly submits that vide order dated 07.12.2016, this Court in W.P.No.39435 of 2016, while disposing of the writ petition directed the petitioner to make a representation to respondent No.2 seeking closure of rowdy sheet. It is stated that pursuant to the orders passed, the petitioner made a representation dated 12.01.2017, seeking to take steps in accordance with law, for recalling the rowdy sheet opened against him. But, till date no orders are said to have been passed.

Learned Government Pleader for Home would submit that if no orders are passed on the said application, the respondent may be directed to pass orders at the earliest.

Having regard to the above and without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to pass orders in the representation dated 12.01.2017, made by the petitioner, pursuant to the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.39435 of 2016, in accordance with law, within a period of two

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, if the same is still pending consideration. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
