The Court made the following:
ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "......to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring that the action of the respondents in conducting the elections to the 6th respondent society by way of show of hands ignoring the letter of the 5th respondent dt.24.01.2012 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice including the democratic way of elections consequently directing the respondents to conduct elections to the 6th respondent by secret ballet and pass any other order or orders....." At the hearing, Mr.TV.S.Prabhakar Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and that
the writ petition has become infructuous.
Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, interim order, dated 08.02.2012 is vacated and W.P.M.P.No.3856 of 2012 filed by the petitioners for interim relief shall stand dismissed as infructuous.
