HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.25253 of 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in not investigating into Crime No.228 of 2019 dated 12.10.2019 under Section 341, 365 r/w 34 IPC as, illegal and arbitrary.

Heard Sri L.Kamesh, learned counsel representing Sri J.Raghuram, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on written instructions dated 25.11.2019, a copy of which is placed on record, submits that basing on the complaint of the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.228 of 2019 dated 12.10.2019 under Section 341, 365 r/w 34 IPC. During the course of investigation L.Ws.1 to 4 were examined and their statements were recorded. He further submits that investigation is completed and after obtaining opinion from the Public Prosecutor of lower Court, final report will be filed before the concerned Court.

Having regard to the above said submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader that the investigation is completed, the 3rd respondent shall take appropriate steps to file final report before the concerned Court, as expeditiously as possible.

With the above observation, this writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
