O R D E R

Alleging that respondents 3 to 5 - police authorities are harassing the petitioner, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of Sub Inspector of Police, III Town Police Station, Khammam dated 11.07.2018, denying the allegation of the petitioner. In the written instructions it is stated that one Thogaru Bhasker Rao s/ o Ananda Rao, resident of Khammam, lodged complaint against the petitioner and others and accordingly the same was registered as Cr.No.119/ 2018 under Sections 420 read with 34 IPC on 7.6.2018 on the file of III Town Police Station, Khammam and investigation is taken up and appropriate report will be filed before the court concerned.

It is stated that on similar complaint of taking money on the pretext of providing job, Cr.No.207/ 2018 under Section 420 of IPC dated 29.05.2018 was registered against the petitioner on the file of II Town Police Station, Khammam and investigation is in progress. It is further stated that the petitioner instead of co-operating with the investigation, filed the present writ petition with false allegations.

Learned counsel for the petitioner disputed the allegations and the alleged role of the petitioner in the above said crimes. It is to be seen that this court cannot conduct roving enquiry into the allegations. The petitioner in the present writ petition, has not sought

for quashing of the crimes and he is alleging harassment at the hands of the police, which is vehemently denied and investigations in the above said crimes is stated to be in progress.

Recording the above statement made in the written instructions, the writ petition is disposed of.

However, petitioner may avail alternative remedy in respect of crimes registered against him.

Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
