HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 19909 OF 2007 ORDER:

When the matter is taken for hearing, the Counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners are challenging the Proceedings No.E2/785(4)/04-Dy.CPM-C, dated 19.4.2005, passed by the 3rd respondent wherein the request of the petitioners for stepping up of their pay on par with their juniors was rejected. During the pendency of the Writ Petition, the petitioners have attained the age of superannuation. The Counsel for the petitioners further submits that the ends of justice would be met, if an opportunity is given to the petitioners to make a representation ventilating their grievance and the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders.

This Court is of the considered view that this Writ Petition can be disposed of, directing the petitioners to make a representation within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon such representation being received, the respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks thereafter. 3.
