THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 21956 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home.

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent No.3 in taking action against the accused in Crime No.380 of 2016 as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and consequently direct respondents to take action against the accused in Crime No.380 of 2016 on the file of the Miyapur Police Station, Cyberabad and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem it fit and proper in the circumstances of the case'. Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondent-police to complete the investigation in Crime No.380 of 2016, at the earliest. Learned Government Pleader submits that she has no objection for the same.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent-police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.380 of 2016, as early as possible, in accordance with law.

Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. ______________________ JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR
