The grievance of the petitioner is that respondents 2 to 4 are not registering the FIR on the complaint made by the petitioner dated 14-05-2018. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home basing on written instructions produced in WP.No.21665 of 2018 submits that the Station House Officer, Adibatla Police Station, Rachakonda Commissionerate has received the complaint of the petitioner and an entry was made in the General Diary. The petitioner was called for the purpose of enquiry for producing documents. But the petitioner did not submit any records in support of his version. Learned counsel for the petitioner says that necessary action has to be taken on the complaint of the petitioner in terms of Apex Court judgment of Lalitha Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh1.
In view of the above facts and circumstances, the police have to follow the guidelines laid down in the judgment of Apex Court in Lalitha Kumari's case cited supra in respect of registration of crimes if not already followed.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
