Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that appeal lies against the impugned proceedings issued by the 5th respondent in file No.966/2016 and the same is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. In view of the same, I do not see any reason to entertain the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed granting liberty to the petitioner to avail alternative remedy as may be available to him under law. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
