PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition on merits and seeks liberty to the petitioner or its members to make representations for appropriate relief to the National Council for Teacher Education and a direction to decide such representations within time frame. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that he has no objection for considering the representations that may be made by the petitioner or its members.

In the circumstances, we pass the following order: "It is open to the petitioner and its members jointly or independently to make representations to respondent No.1 - National Council for Teacher Education within a period of two weeks from today and if any such representations are made, we hope and trust that the 1st respondent shall consider and decide the same as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the representations."
