HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 10036 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A1 & A2 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 150 of 2014 of Charminar Police Station, Hyderabad City, registered for the offences under Sections 120-B, 406 & 420 r/w 34 IPC and Sections 3,4 & 5 of the Chit fund Act. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 02.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Charminar Police Station, Hyderabad City and submitted that the case has been referred as 'Civil in Nature' on 31.8.2014 and final report was filed before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 150 of 2014 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
