THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NOOTY RAMAMOHANA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 11495 OF 2015 O R D E R:
The petitioner, who was working as a Field Assistant with the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Scheme, has been placed under suspension by the 2nd respondent Project Director, by his proceedings dated 16.03.2015. Though a month's period has already elapsed, nothing concrete has emerged in the matter thereafter. As per the terms contained in the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Scheme/Guidelines, inquiry shall be completed within 30 days from the date of placing the Field Assistant under suspension. Therefore, instead of keeping this writ petition pending, it is disposed of directing the respondents to conduct the inquiry and complete the same, duly following the procedure and adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a maximum period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The final orders shall be communicated to the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed of after hearing Sri M.S.R. Chandra Murthy, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent. With this, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any shall also stand disposed of.
