When the matter is taken-up, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the respondents are trying to undertake the process of widening road by completely leaving one side of the road. The petitioners submitted representation on 20-03-2018 to respondent-authorities in respect of said grievance.
Now the impugned notice came to be issued by the respondent-Corporation in Lr.No.L14/G/TPS/CR-20/830/GHMC/2018, dated 06-06-2018 requesting the petitioners to extend their cooperation by exercising their consent to handover the possession of the area. Since it is only a proposal made by the respondent-Corporation, it is open for the petitioners herein to make appropriate representation to the respondents for consideration of the respondent-Corporation. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, leaving it open to the petitioners to submit appropriate representation before the respondent-Corporation for their consideration within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order. If any such representation is made, the same be considered and appropriate action be taken in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
In the event of failure on the part of petitioners to submit representation within the time stipulated, the respondents are entitled to proceed in accordance with law.
