HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.11761 OF 2015 ORDER:
The present writ petition is filed by the petitioners seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioners' representation, dated 23.02.2015, with reference to the letters of the respondents 1 and 2, for payment of compensation for the land admeasuring Acs.3.39 guntas in Sy.Nos.107 of B.K. Guda and Sy.Nos.58 and 59 of Yousufguda, taken possession by the 2nd respondent, as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, direct the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation.
Heard and perused the material available on record. The case of the petitioners is that in the year 1960, the 2nd respondent acquired an extent of Acs.60.00 gunats of land from the fathers of the petitioners for the purpose of constructing Housing Board Colony. At that time, the boundaries were not fixed. After fixing boundaries, it came to know that an extent of Acs.3.39 guntas of land was acquired excess than the required land of Acs.60.00 guntas by the 2nd respondent from the petitioners' fathers. Thereafter, the petitioners filed representations to the respondents for payment of compensation in respect of the excess land acquired by the 2nd respondent. Since there is no action, they filed WP No.23687 of 2002 before this Court seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representations filed by the petitioners.
This Court, vide its order, dated 06.01.2003, directed the 2nd respondent to consider the claim of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months.

Recently, the petitioners made another representation on 23.02.2015, to the 1st respondent to expedite the action for settlement of claim of the petitioners, but there is no action from the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking into consideration the grievance of the petitioners, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:
The 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 23.02.2015, made by the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
