Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioners were already issued regular pattadar pass books and title deeds under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. Their complaint presently is that the revenue authorities are not updating their names in the land records and issuing them new pattadar pass books.
3.
It appears that the petitioners have already addressed written representation dated 24.7.2019 to the Mandal Revenue Officer, Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. Perusal of the said representation demonstrates that the office of the Tahsildar, Maheshwaram Mandal, received it on the very same day. By way of the said representation, the petitioners asked the Tahsildar to provide them updated revenue records/pahanies in respect of the subject land and
also issue them new pattadar pass books and title deeds in relation thereto.
4.
Having received such a representation, it is not open to the Tahsildar, Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, to remain silent.
5.
The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioners' representation dated 24.7.2019 expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed. __________________ P NAVEEN RAO,J DATE: 19-11-2019 TVK
