Aggrieved by the action of the respondent No.2 in refusing to collect property tax to the subject property of the petitioner, and also not in considering his representation dated 5.8.2019, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration for 1st respondent and Sri N.Praveen Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of the learned counsel, without going into the merits of the case, writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation stated to have been made on 05.08.2019, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
