When this matter is taken up for hearing today, it is noticed that the writ petition was dismissed for default against the 1st respondent as per orders dated 23.6.2011 and the petitioner has not taken any steps to restore the writ petition against the 1st respondent, and that the petitioner filed this writ petition challenging the award passed by the Labour Court in I.D.No.219 of 2001, dated 29.7.2004 in favour of the 1st respondent. In the absence of the 1st respondent, the writ petition cannot be adjudicated. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed.
