Common Order :

The parties to all these Writ Petitions are common and the

grievance raised by the petitioner viz., that respondent No.2 has not been releasing the Earnest Money Deposits (EMDs) and Further Security Deposits (FSDs) even after completion of the contracted works by him, is also common.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that after filing of these Writ Petitions, respondent No.2 has returned the EMDs and FSDs relating to the works, which are the subject matter of W.P.Nos.23088 of 2015 and 22828 of 2015, to the petitioner.

As regards the refund of the EMDs and FSDs pertaining to the works in WP.Nos.18068 and 18864 of 2015, Mr.Nimmagadda Venkateswarlu, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.2- Municipality, submitted that as the Engineer, who was the incharge of the above works, was transferred to another Municipality, the measurements could not be entered in the Measurement Books (M Books) so far. He has further submitted that the said Engineer was requested to make entries in the M Book; that within three or four weeks, entries will be made by him; and that after making the required deductions, if any, the EMDs and FSDs relating to these two works will also be returned to the petitioner. In the light of the above facts and circumstances and the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2, WP.Nos.

23088 and 22828 of 2015 are disposed of as infructuous and WP.Nos.

of this order.
