This is an application filed under Section 151 of CPC, seeking to permit the petitioner herein/6th petitioner in W.P.No.19145 of 2008 to withdraw the writ petition.

In the affidavit filed in support of the present application, it is stated that the during the pendency of writ petition, Respondents have issued proceedings Ref.No.MMR/PER/P/ 03/Dept/17/6156 dated 1.11.2017 for consideration of the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Stores Issue Mazdoor and in furtherance of the same, petitioner was advised to take steps for withdrawal of the writ petition to the extent of petitioner.

In view of the same and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner herein, W.P.M.P.No.48129 of 2017 is ordered and accordingly, W.P.No.19145 of 2008 is dismissed as withdrawn to the extent of 6th petitioner.
