HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.8358 OF 2011 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section Cr.P.C, the petitioners/accused seek to quash the proceedings in FIR No.34 of 2011 of P.S., Yerrupalem, Nizamabad, which was registered for the offence under Sections 420, 406 read with 34 IPC, Section 5 of A.P.Protection of Depositors and Financial Establishments Act, 1999 and Section 3, 4 and 5(2) of the Prize, Chits Money Circulation (Banning) Act, 1978. When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter, dated 16.03.2017 of Sub-Inspector of Police, P.S., Yerrupalem, Nizamabad District, and submitted that in this case investigation was completed and charge sheet was filed and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in FIR No.34 of 2011 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. No representation for learned counsel for petitioners. In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
