THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.3018 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

Aggrieved by the order dated 20.11.2015 in D.Dis.No.411/2014(D) passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Eluru, West Godavari District, the 3rd respondent, the petitioner filed a revision along with a stay petition before the Joint Collector, West Godavari District, the 2nd respondent. The petitioner states that neither the revision petition nor the stay petition is listed for hearing so far and there is urgency in the matter as the order of the Tahsildar, Denduluru Mandal, West Godavari District, the 4th respondent, is confirmed by the 3rd respondent and the same is likely to be executed against the petitioner resulting in serious proceedings.

It is evident from the record that the petitioner's revision petition along with the stay petition is pending from 16.12.2015. Hence, it is appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to fix an early date for hearing the petitioner's revision petition as well as the stay petition and after notice to the petitioner, pass appropriate orders atleast in the stay petition within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. _____________________________ VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR, J
