HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. AMARNATH GOUD WRIT PETITION NO: 2 9 9 3 1 OF 2013 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed to declare the Resolution of the sixth respondent dated 04/9/2013 whereby ward No.8 is reserved for Scheduled Castes as arbitrary, illegal and contrary to the Cantonment Electoral Rules, 2007 and set aside the same and further to direct the respondents to reserve ward No.5 for Scheduled Castes and to pass such other suitable orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

2. When the matter is listed today, Sri K.R. Koteswara Rao, learned Standing Counsel for Cantonment submits that alleging the action of the respondents holding elections during the year 2013-14 in pursuance of the Resolution of the sixth respondent, dated 04/9/2013 for ward No.8, the present writ petition has been filed. But in view of the fact that Elections have been completed and by afflux of time, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition and the same may be dismissed as infructuous.

3. Recording the above submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

4. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
