Petitioner was placed under suspension on 25.09.2008 on the allegation of involving in a criminal case. He was reinstated into service on 25.11.2011 and retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.08.2017. He was accused in C.C.No.7 of 2010 on the file of the Court of Principal Special Judge, SPE and ACB Cases, Hyderabad. By judgment dated 08.12.2014, petitioner was acquitted. He filed application to regularize the period of suspension from service by relying on the acquittal granted by the Principal Special Judge, SPE and ACB Cases, Hyderabad, and the said request of the petitioner was rejected on 19.09.2017. Thereafter, he made further representation to renew the said rejection and to grant pensionary benefits for the period of suspension and revise the retirement benefits. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this Writ Petition is filed. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise agree for disposal of the Writ Petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 28.05.2018 submitted by the petitioner and to pass orders thereon.

Having regard to the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to examine the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in his representation dated 28.05.2018 and to pass orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
