HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No. 7420 of 2019 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of the proceedings in C.C.No.99 of 2018 on the file of the XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad city,.

A charge sheet came to be filed against the petitioner and others for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 3.
Though the present Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashing of entire proceedings, but learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking dispensation of the presence of the petitioner before the trial Court on every date of adjournment.

The learned Public Prosecutor submits that since the identity of petitioner is not in dispute, her presence in the above C.C. may not be necessary on every date of adjournment. 5.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the personal appearance of the petitioner in C.C.No.99 of 2018 on the file of the XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Hyderabad City, is hereby dispensed with except on the dates when her presence is specifically required by the Court. However, she shall be represented through her counsel.
