Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 5. 2.

The prayers sought in the writ petition is as under: "...this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to declare the action of the 3rd and 4th respondents in frequently calling to the Police Station and harassing the petitioners to pay the debts payable to the respondent No.6 though there is no civil or criminal case pending against the petitioners is illegal, arbitrary, unjust violation of principles of natural justice and violation of articles 14, 15, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and to grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case, and consequently directing 3rd and 4th respondents not to call the petitioners to the Police Station and not to harass the petitioners to pay the debts payable to the respondent No 6 as it is of civil nature, and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." 3.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners informs this Court that by virtue of orders passed by this Court on 27.08.2014, the respondent Nos.3 and 4 stopped harassing the petitioners and in the light of the same, no further orders are required to be passed in the writ petition.

Taking the said statement into consideration, the writ petition is closed. As a sequel thereto, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________ P. KESHAVA RAO, J December 10, 2019 DSK
